Consent in Magical practices is needed for the same reason it is needed in sexual practices: equity. The sad truth is that the Circle is not always safe for everyone. We live in a web of unequal power dynamics based on systems of oppression. We bring these power dynamics with us into the Circle. The practice of Consent helps to level the playing field and create safety for all. Join in this discussion where we will share strategies and ideas and gather some new tools along the way.
